We were featured in the Small Business Brief newsletter! Here is what they said about our site:
Last but not least, we have Hip & Little who specialize in handmade, one of a kind items just right for that child on your gift list. I think the munchkin will get noticed in this adorable little cap or monogrammed t-shirt. Are those cute or what? They also have all the needs and finishing touches for the baby's nursery and all the stylish baby gear a little one will ever need. Plus toys, baby products and much more. So if you are looking for unique items for a baby, look no further than Hip & Little.

We're famous! Well, a little bit more famous than before, anyway. Our pregnancy announcements were featured in the Earnshaw's Magazine "alist" in the February issue. For those who don't know, Earnshaw's is a trade magazine focusing on children's wear and juvenile products. How exciting it is to be in print!

We are tip worthy! Ned and Shell's Daily Dose - Mom and Kids edition has featured our comfy and convenient Ergo Baby Carriers! Here is what they had to say:
tipoff Unfortunately for moms, we have only been endowed with two hands and on most days it's not nearly enough. The Ergo Baby Carrier takes our two-armed dilemma into consideration. Check out this specially designed carrier. The ergo distributes the baby's weight evenly on the adult's body, while providing a correct sitting position for the baby's hip, pelvis and spine growth (as opposed to many popular baby carriers which place the baby's weight on his/her crotch). You can wear it as a front or back carrier or on your hip. Stylish, functional and hands free--what a concept!

Craft Revolution featured us in their awesome shopping blog! Here is what they said about us:
One of the most difficult shopping trips I have to make is the one right before a baby shower. After having had three kids of my own and a passel of nieces and nephews, I get tired of buying the 'same old' stuff. Sure, you know what the new parents need, but where is the fun in buying diaper wipes or crib sheets?
Next time, I think I'll skip the traditional items and go for one of these gorgeous personalized wall hangings and paintings by Sherri Blum Designs, available at Hip & Little.
While you're checking out these oh-so-cute creations, make sure you take a peek at the new Pregnancy Announcements. They're the perfect way to give someone the hint of the bundle of joy that is about to grace your life! The new cards are so adorable that two staff members tried to blog about them at the same time- a sure sign of a great product!

The Daily Stroll is spreading the news about Hip and Little Children's Boutique! Have you heard about our cute, reversible toddler clothing by Innies N Outies yet? Here is what they had to say about it:
Opposites Attract
It's no secret that kids are accident prone. They can't help it if they are too busy watching cartoons to actually target their mouth with their spoon during breakfast, and there isn't much that you can do about it.
Since you are a hip mama who reads the Daily Stroll, at least you can be one of the first to hear about a great line of clothing called Innies & Outies, available at www.HipandLittle.com.
When I was in culinary school I thought it was genius to have a chef coat that you could unbutton and change out lapels in case you had a flambÈ' incident. Why I did not start this trend for kids is beyond me, but thank goodness someone had their thinking caps on.
The line is not only super cute, but cotton, machine washable, and from the looks of it, generously sized. Get two outfits in one with reversible pieces made in the U.S.A by Innies & Outies, starting at 2T.

We were recently featured on the Thrifty Boutique's online shopping magazine. Don't forget to sign up for their newsletter to learn about new designers and more hip boutiques!
Here is what they said about us:
One of my favorite routines while pregnant used to be spending many mornings at the mega-stores and with not rush, look for nothing but cute stuff. I surely enjoyed it... til' one afternoon (8 years ago), when my life changed for ever... for good!
With not even time to comb my own hair, shopping malls were way out of my schedule... Today, not need to run around anymore... Hip and Little is the 'one-stop' e-store offering big style for little ones! The Children's Boutique at Hip and Little specializes in cute baby things, hard to find gifts and many handmade children's items.
"As a small, woman-owned business, Hip and Little is committed to supporting small businesses and independent designers... We search high and low for unique and stylish items that you can't find in a big chain store. Many of our selections are handmade or one-of-a-kind vintage finds..."

Our changing pad kits were featured on Mom 2 Mom. Here is what they said:

"The 'Changing Kit': My new fave item. Perfect for those 'just running to the store for a couple of things' moments. Just add a diaper, wipes, keys and a couple of bucks. Wipable changing pad and wipe case included. Love it! From Hip and Little...a cute little online boutique/mom-based business.
Moms know!"

Lifestyle Daily featured our Vintage Style Baby Bibs! Here is a quote from them:
"Some parents are not comfortable dressing their babes in layers of frilly, starched sugary sweetness. I'll be honest, I love the girly-girlness of a classic baby dress as much as the next mom, but itís easy to ruffle your way right into overdone Pepto Bismol pink gaudiness. So if youíre looking for something different, you might want to check out the nostalgic vintage prints that have become so popular in childrenís clothing.
There is nothing wrong with reliving your childhood through your little bambino if you are bedecking them in any of these cool retro prints. Vintage prints are not only extremely stylish, but designers have added a hip spin to these retro prints by experimenting with fabric, shape, texture and color.
Fun Vintage Print Bibs by Funkie Baby, $19 at Spunkyturtle.com.
These bibs are not only funky as heck, they are machine washable, reversible, oversized, and velcro.

Craft Revolution featured our custom baby clothing hangers! Here is what they had to say about them:
Baby, You're the One
You're feeling a little guilty because your sister just had her first baby and you missed it. Of course, you are finishing your masters 3,000 miles away. But she's your sister!
So, you set out to find the perfect gift that will tell her how much you care, even though you can't be there with her. From boutique to specialty shop you tread. Four hours and two very tired feet later, you flop onto the sofa with empty hands.
With weary eyes, you glance over at your laptop. You sit up. Do you dare? Well, at least you can shop sitting down!
A few clicks at Craft Revolution and a hop over to Spunky Turtle later, you're in new auntie bliss.
These personalized baby hangers are perfect! You can choose from a variety of adorable styles from retro polka-dots to cow print and they'll even hand-stencil little Alexandra's name. In non-toxic paint, of course!

Ready for adding a new member to your family?
Be always ahead when it comes to getting your baby outfits. You will never have enough of them, I know what I'm talking about...
Kids' fashion is the boom of the moment, but trust me when I tell you spunky turtle offers the cutiest products ever to include on your baby shower list or get them yourself. Moses baskets, baby shoes & super soft blankets are few of the items you will adore.

Spunky Turtle and Little 101 were featured in Lifestyle Daily: Fresh Ideas for Nursery Decor. Enjoy our article about nursery focal points! Here is what Lifestyle Daily had to say about our vintage baby mechanic print:
"This vintage print shows a little toddler tuning up his parents' car. He's got all his tools out and his little puppy is there to help. Marked "Making it Safe", copyright 1937, Litho in U.S.A. This is a vintage (old, not reproduction) print originally intended for use in calendars. Hurry over; there is only one of these available!"
