Hospital Bag Checklist Here at Hip and Little we know it is important to be prepared! So we thought we would help our pregnant friends with a checklist of items to pack in their hospital bags. We advise packing up early just in case your baby decides to surprise you! Just keep your bag by the door, ready to grab when the big day comes. Here is what you should have ready.
___ lip balm ___ cozy socks to wear during the delivery ___ your camera (and video camera if you are truly brave) ___ ipod or other music player with your favorite tunes ___ phone numbers for your friends and family ___ favorite snacks for after delivery ___ 2 or 3 hospital gowns ___ slippers ___ nursing bra ___ nipple cream ___ baby shampoo ___ newborn diapers ___ personal toiletries (toothbrush, etc.) ___ a take home outfit for the baby ___ extra maternity clothes for you (you won't be ready for your regular clothes quite yet!)
* Don't forget to install your baby's carseat ahead of time! It is much easier to do this before baby's arrival than after.
