How to Have a Healthy Pregnancy

Expecting a baby is a very exciting time! It is especially important to take care of yourself as your little one is growing and developing. Here are some ways to make sure your pregnancy is as healthy as possible:

  • Take prenatal vitamins that include folic acid.
  • Visit your OBGYN regularly.
  • Try to keep your stress level down.
  • Take time to rest and relax each day.
  • Eat healthy foods with plenty of fruits and veggies.
  • Avoid smoking, alcohol, and drugs.
  • Avoid potentially unsafe foods such as raw fish, soft cheeses, raw sprouts or unwashed produce.

If you have any questions about having a healthy pregnancy, don't hesitate to ask your doctor. He or she is a great resource for all of your questions!
